MORE savings on my bills!!

Short Note : Nope, this is not an advertisement and i’m not being paid….

Oh boy, i’m so glad that i so happen to stumble upon the new Digi 1 Plan. Currently i’m a Premier Plan user and my monthly phone bill averages at RM180 for 2 person. Previously it was RM400+ per person with Maxis… So i considered that a huge savings for the switch. That was earlier this year. This morning, i so happen to stumble upon Digi’s new plan while surfing their website and i’d calculated that with the new plan, there’s a big chance that i’ll be paying for less than RM100 for 2 person in the near future!! (I know i’m a bit outdated as the plan was introduced eons ago but i ignored it that time thinking that it’s the same as my current plan)

Isn’t that great news? LOL, to quote DiGi “Always a smarter choice” = more pocket money for me!! xD

RTM Manglish Promotion?

I saw this advertisement today in The Star, 3rd October 2007

was it just me or is the advertisement is really lousy? The title reads “No Pay Money” and followed by “2 Non-stop Hours Of Viewing Pleasure on Prime Time”. Hello? Did they do any proof reading before they decide to print the ad? It’s on one of the nation’s major newspaper!!

Is this RTM’s attempt to promote Manglish (if it was done deliberately) ? I’m sure this would add plenty of laughs in promoting Visit Malaysia Year no doubt.

Sahur Commotion

Short Note : Tired and yet have to study

Today’s Wednesday and there’s like errm, *counting ~Thurs, Fri* 2 more days for me to study 4 chapters!!! Oh my gawd i better start working on it!!

On the side note, lately i’d been getting really bad sleep. It’s all because of people living next door to me. I respect their religion requirement that they have to have their “sahur” in the wee hours of morning but do they have to do it so noisily? Or am i a light sleeper?

For the past 2 WEEKS, those Malays had been doing the same thing routinely every morning!! 4am, the neighbors on the left start off the ruckus by their super loud alarm (they had programmed their PC alarm to buzz off at that time at the maximum volume). And then to top it off, my right neighbors will start to shout and start blasting bad-taste-music at 4AM!!! What the fuck is this? Just because you have to wake up for prayers and breakfast and thus you can’t be more considerate?

Worse, after eating and the commotion ends at around 5 and the whole lot of Malays will just go back to sleep. I wonder how could they do that so smoothly… I for one is not born with the gift of going to sleep that FAST. They truly are “amazing” creatures….
