I’m tired
April 29, 2008It’s been such a long time since i last blog, just started my internship yesterday and now i know why the staffs are well paid there… They really do deserve it. First day of work, i’m required to read through Reuters News and it’s fun at the beginning but it gets really tiring for the eyes after 8 hours of staring at the computer. First day of work, everyone’s busy and i wasn’t really being entertain until late morning. I don’t really mind it because everything is so full of life there. People shouting prices etc. It’s a lovely place!!
Finally i got to meet my person-in-charge. I’ll be going to 3 respective departments in the 3 month duration which means I’ll be under 3 different vice president in the duration of internship. Nice!! Hopefully I’ll be absorbed automatically into the department after my internship!
Today’s a long day too, I was told to go to office earlier to analyze the international forex movements and its effect on our country. Luckily it wasn’t that hard. Later in the day, i was handed a study module for the dealer’s examination. It is tough. It is nothing like what i learn in uni. What was taught in USM prepares me almost nothing to this. Lucky me that most of the traders there are pretty helpful.
Ahh, later, perhaps later i’ll do my report for USM. I’m just too tired now….
